BarterWorld’s Commitment to Registered Canadian Charities BarterWorld is committed to making a difference in the lives of the less fortunate at home and around the world. BarterWorld encourages its members to donate, at least, a portion of their TradeBUX™ to Registered Canadian Charitable Members, in order to meet their objectives and fulfill their mandates. Benefits of Charitable Use of TradeBUX™ Any registered Canadian charity is entitled to register with BarterWorld to receive TradeBUX™ to further its mandate and reach its goals. To become eligible, a Charity must register as a member of the BarterWorld Network in order to establish an account, into which it can receive TradeBUX™. BarterWorld, as a trade interface, provides an unprecedented opportunity for charities to fulfill their need for goods and services. The guiding principle of the barter network is that the value of one TradeBUX™ is equal to approximately $1 CDN for the purposes of selling and acquiring goods and services. Registered Canadian charities can acquire products and services provided by independent suppliers and pay for those products or services using TradeBUX™ in lieu of conventional currency. Charities can log-on to an advanced online interface to source needed products and services and connect them with other BarterWorld members and potential suppliers that accept TradeBUX™ as a form of currency. Charities have an option to meet their charitable objectives by transferring the TradeBUX™ to individuals or designated organizations. How Does Your Charity Benefit?
Fundraising & Barter Dollars Charities often find it difficult to obtain sufficient cash donations from businesses. When a business contributes funds to a charity, the donation comes out of the profit margins and this is an obvious drawback to most companies. Even understanding that a charitable gift is a tax deduction and a source of goodwill and PR, businesses simply don’t always have adequate cash flow to donate as much as they may wish, or as much as is needed. Barter solves the problem of not being able to provide more to charities, because there is a limited amount of cash involved. Working with Charities Universal Barter Group will work with participating charities, explain the clear-cut and simple process and provide all necessary documentation, including a TradeBUX™ valuation report on the TradeBUX™. Each charity has the freedom to choose the products that are critical to its goals and UBG will proactively assist in developing a supply list that can meet the needs of the charitable TradeBUX™ user.
